
Operations Manager
Carin Bush has been part of the Black Hills Title team since 2010, bringing over a decade of experience in the escrow and title industry. As Operations Manager, Carin is dedicated to ensuring a seamless closing process for every client. She is passionate about helping customers navigate one of the most important purchases of their lives, working hard to make the experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Outside of work, Carin enjoys volunteer coaching youth basketball and has proudly coached all four of her children over the years. She loves spending time with her family and escaping to her favorite place—anywhere with a beach. Carin is also actively involved in her community as a member of the Sturgis Optimist Club and the Key City Giving Gals, a local women’s group that supports area nonprofits through twice-yearly donations chosen by majority vote.

Operations Manager
Since joining Black Hills Title in 2004, Travis Martin has built his career around one central goal: protecting what is typically a person’s largest investment – their property. He’s passionate about providing peace of mind for new homebuyers and helping families build and protect generational wealth through homeownership.
A licensed Title Examiner with the South Dakota Title Professional designation, Travis now serves as President-Elect of the South Dakota Land Title Association, helping guide the industry’s future at both the state and national levels. Travis received his National Title Professional (NTP) designation from ALTA in October 2025. He also chairs the SDLTA Legislative Committee and serves on multiple American Land Title Association (ALTA) committees, including the Government Affairs, State Legislative/Regulatory Action and Congressional Liaisons Committees.
Outside of work, Travis enjoys traveling, is an avid hockey fan (and former player) and once spent time in Europe competing on the volleyball circuit as a teenager. Travis is also proud to hold an official certificate in pouring the perfect pint of Guinness… a skill he’s happy to demonstrate any time off the clock.

As Operations Manager at Black Hills Title, Kaylee Webb keeps every detail of the closing process running smoothly. Since joining the company in 2014, she’s developed a reputation for her organization, creative problem-solving skills and staying calm under pressure.
For Kaylee, every file tells a story. She loves being part of such an important milestone in people’s lives. Helping people is what drives her most, and she takes pride in ensuring every customer feels supported from start to finish.
Kaylee began her career at Black Hills Title right after college and quickly discovered her passion for helping people and for the fast-paced environment of real estate. Outside the office, she enjoys camping, hiking, fishing and hunting with her husband, two children and their family pets.

With more than two decades of title examination, Melanie Barrows is a source of deep knowledge and precision for every real estate transaction she touches. Since joining Black Hills Title in 2000, she’s developed the ability to solve even the most complex title challenges.
Melanie thrives on helping customers find solutions involving complex title issues, ensuring every transaction proceeds with clarity and confidence. She takes pride in her ability to tackle the most challenging problems, uncovering hidden issues, navigating tangled histories and ensuring clear secure title with accuracy and efficiency, always striving to deliver solutions that protect the integrity of the transaction and the interests of all parties involved.
Outside of work, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband, camping and exploring the Black Hills in their Jeep. She is a proud parent and grandparent and values the time she spends with her kids and grandkids.

Director of Client Services & Closing Agent
Since joining Black Hills Title in 2012, Lauren Beyersdorf has become recognized not only for her expertise but also for her genuine care for people. As Director of Client Services and Closing agent, as well as a licensed title examiner, she approaches every transaction with professionalism, warmth and a commitment to making each client feel valued. Her ability to build lasting relationships with agents, lenders and customers is one of the many reasons she’s such an integral part of our team.
A proud graduate of Black Hills State University, Lauren holds a B.S. in Mass Communications with double minors in Business and Speech. She has earned both the South Dakota and National Title Professional designations, is a Certified Homeowner Outreach Program (HOP) Leader through the American Land Title Association (ALTA), and is an approved continuing education instructor for real estate agents. Lauren also serves as Chair of the Member Engagement Committee and a member of the Convention Planning Committee for the South Dakota Land Title Association (SDLTA).
Outside of the office, Lauren loves to support the community by volunteering with United Way of the Black Hills, serving on the Realtors for Kids Board and sitting on the Alumni Board for BHSU. She also enjoys hiking, mountain biking and camping with her family, who have affectionately nicknamed her a “certified wildlife spotter” thanks to her knack for finding animals before anyone else on their adventures.

Dan Roe has been a dedicated professional in the title services industry for 30 years. After taking over day-to-day operations in 2002, he guided Black Hills Title’s growth from a small local office into a prominent regional title company now serving multiple counties in South Dakota and Wyoming.
Recognized for his commitment to excellence and depth of industry expertise, Dan was part of the first class in South Dakota to earn the National Title Professional designation from the American Land Title Association. He also holds the South Dakota Title Professional designation. His service to the profession includes roles as both President and board member of the South Dakota Land Title Association, and he currently leads the industry statewide as President of the South Dakota Abstracters Board of Examiners.
Outside the office, Dan and his wife, Trish, enjoy life in the Black Hills. They are the proud parents of twin daughters and share their home with a lively crew of pets—often including foster animals from the local shelter. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Dan also dedicates his time to coaching high-school-level softball, sharing his passion for teamwork and mentorship with athletes from across the Northern Black Hills.
