It all began in Sturgis, South Dakota, when Wayne Roe founded Meade County Title as a two-person operation with a service-first mindset, always striving to provide faster, more accurate title and closing services. In 2002, his son Dan Roe took the helm, carrying that commitment forward while expanding into Lawrence, Butte and Harding Counties and later Newcastle, Wyoming.
Today, as Black Hills Title, we bring decades of experience, industry-leading technology and the strength of five expertly staffed offices. Our company is fully owned by title professionals who live and work in the communities we serve.
